Illerkirchberg in Baden-Württemberg ist ein kleines Dorf mit 4.717 Einwohnern. Am Montagvormittag kam es dort zu einem brutalen Angriff: Ein Mann attackierte mit einem Messer zwei weibliche Teenager, eine 14-Jährige starb durch die schweren Verletzungen. Der Tatverdächtige ist ein 27-jähriger Mann aus Eritrea, der in einer Flüchtlingsunterkunft lebte; er hatte ein Aufenthaltsrecht bis 2023. Bei einer Polizeivernehmung am Dienstagmorgen schwieg der Beschuldigte.
In der Politik wird nun über die deutsche Asylpolitik debattiert. Christoph Ploß, 37, gehört zum konservativen Flügel der CDU. Er ist Chef des Hamburger Landesverbandes, plädiert jetzt für einen anderen Umgang mit Asylbewerbern – und kritisiert die Pläne der Ampelregierung für ein Einwanderungsgesetz scharf.
t-online: Herr Ploß, wie kann so etwas passieren?
Christoph Ploß: Das ist ein unfassbar schreckliches Verbrechen. Ich bin entsetzt, was dort geschehen ist. Es muss alles getan werden, den Täter jetzt schnell zur Rechenschaft zu ziehen.
Braucht es eine grundlegende migrationspolitische Debatte?
Ein überproportionaler Anteil der Straftäter hat einen Migrationshintergrund. Darüber wird zu wenig geredet. Wir brauchen eine grundsätzliche Diskussion darüber, wie wir die Migration nach Deutschland besser steuern können.
